The Boxing Day Test « Result #4 on Jan 2, 2006, 6:48pm »
Had a very enjoyable visit to Victoria over the Christmas break, the cricketing highlight being a trip to the SCG on Boxing Day for the first day of the Australia v South Africa Test. It was slow going for much of the day, although a useful partnership between Hayden and Ponting left a solid foundation for the Australians which they needed as wickets fell late in the day. But WA legend Michael Hussey batted through till stumps and went on with the job the next day to record a century.

Another convincing display from Gordon yesterday when they took first innings points against Sutherland at Killara Oval. In the 3rd over, the visitors lost 2 wickets to slump to 2/4 and never recovered. The pitch was greener and more bowler-friendly than most Killara tracks, but Sutherland's total of 146 was never going to be enough to trouble a Gordon side with plenty of batting talent. I had to go at tea, but by then Gordon were well on their way to the win. After the break the score went up to 1/100 with James Packman recording a half-century. A late fightback by Sutherland saw Gordon dismissed for 194, but a 48 run lead will see Gordon looking for early wickets next Saturday to make an attempt at a rare outright.

Hi there, this is tritha from Bangladesh, Mel is a friend of mine and she inspired me to join here. Ok, my question is-Who is the ONLY player in test cricket history who has outscored the whole opponent team in both innings and when??
