WTF? How is this possible? It's a good thing I've got an RDO tomorrow so I can get to the game. It'll be all over by the weekend.

I was out there today, and here's how yesterday's innings looked on the scoreboard For most of the first session, Phil Jacques and Dominic Thornley continued their partnership from yesterday, which ended up being over 200. Thornley finally fell from a soft c&b from Blewett and O'Brien also came and went before the break, with Jacques still being there and bringing up his hundred. I left the ground at lunch. I had things on my mind, so I went for a walk around Centennial Park to collect my thoughts; and by the time I returned NSW had lost 3 quick wickets after lunch including the double-century maker Jacques. Bracken belted the ball around for a little while, and NSW declared when the lead got over 400. SA got 16 without loss when the rain came. An early tea was taken, but by the time the rain stopped 43 minutes had been lost. This time was to be made up tonight, and coupled with South Australia's disgracefully slow over rate earlier in the day it meant the day's action wasn't to finish till well after 7:00. Before long, Blewett, Crosgrove and the next batsman were in the pavilion; and at 3/33 it was a distinct possibility the game could be all over tonight. But Plant and Ferguson dug in to keep South Australia only 3 out overnight. But still 280 behind NSW, and the game will certainly be over before tea tomorrow.
