I went to the SCG today for the final ING game for the season. NSW, despite having a good season in the 4-day games, have struggled in the one-dayers and despite today's result will still finish last. But at least they finished this season on a high note. With the internationals back in the team, Katich got the Blues off to a flying start; which Haddin was able to consolidate on with 96 not out as NSW got to 266. In reply, Victoria were devastated early by a penetrating spell from McGrath, and were never able to get any form of momentum going. Cameron White tried hard with a half-century, but no other support was forthcoming as NSW dismissed the Bushrangers for 144 and wrapped up a bonus point. Next week's final will be at the Gabba, where Queensland will take on Tasmania. Here's some pics I took at the game. Glenn McGrath and Brett Lee sign autographs: Haddin plays away on the off side: Brett Lee padded up for a late-order pinch-hit: Haddin acknowledges the crowd after his 96 not out: Glenn McGrath fields in the outfield: Brett Lee in action: Shane Warne is out, and leaves the SCG:
