Went to the NSW v SA game at Bankstown - a beautiful day for cricket. South Australia batted first, and despite Manou and Lehmann both scoring half-centuries the total of 245 didn't appear to be enough on the small Bankstown ground. NSW came out of the blocks quickly; with Jaques, Katich and Clarke scoring quickly. Corey Richards, recalled to the NSW side after a 3-year absence, tragically injured his leg when going for a quick single and had to retire hurt. After that, NSW lost their way and fell behind the required run-rate. After a few quick wickets SA were back in the contest, but after Richards returned with Dominic Thornley as his runner he managed to stick around with Nathan Bracken to see the Blues fall over the line.
