Kangaroos v Collingwood - Got to love the Shinboner spirit. They were gone last week, but got themselves out of trouble again. They're a great fighting unit, and they'll go on with it this week - Kangaroos to win.
Hawthorn v Brisbane - 2 losses in a row for the Lions, and who will ever forget Barry Hall's goal after the siren to sink them last week, the 2nd time in a row the Lions have lost by a kick. But the Lions are better than that, and will bounce back here - Brisbane to win.
West Coast v Western Bulldogs - West Coast are undefeated and at home, and it's hard to see the Dogs being competitive here. Eagles easily.
Geelong v Essendon - Finally a win by the Bombers. It wasn't pretty, but it'll be a great confidence boost; and with that self-belief the Bombers will go on with it this week - Essendon to win.
Port Adelaide v Carlton - Port's title defence hasn't been convincing, thrashed by Adelaide last week. But Carlton have problems of their own, and choked against the Magpies last week. Port have the edge at home and will win here.
Sydney v Adelaide - Both had great morale-boosting wins last week and the winner will be well-placed for the new season. Sydney at home.
Richmond v Fremantle - When was the last time Richmond won 3 in a row? A long time ago, but with Freo on the road the Tigers will finally break through for that milestone - Richmond to win.
St Kilda v Melbourne - The Saints have struggled early, losing several players and 2 out of 3 games; while Melbourne find themselves undefeated on top. But it's now or never for the Saints and they'll lift for this one - St Kilda to win.
